Comment: The forest service is back to issuing temporary closure orders with $5000 fines. The boundary starts at the tree about 1/2 way down the trail. In addition, the bolts at the first waterfall have been removed. All-trail reports that people in 2020 were issued parking citations at the top of the trailhead near the roadway.

Comment: We completed the last rappel from a single bolt dcl of the pour over. We then hiked back out of the canyon by heading straight back the way we cam, skirting the 2 cliffs below the big raps by heading up the screes dcr (up canyon left). There is a trail along the top of both that take you back up canyon the way you came. The hike out takes about an hour.
The 2 big raps have bolts. DO NOT put any webbing in the canyon! NONE or the canyon stands a good chance of being permanently closed.

Comment: Good flow but nothing dangerous. The water is still fairly cold with a 3mm farmer john, but fine with a long-sleeve 5mm top. I didn't see any ready-to-use bolts -- there are (at least) 4 bolts at the lip of the upper falls, but they don't have any hangers or nuts. A 190ft rope doubled over suffices for the upper falls using natural anchors. A 190ft rope is about 10ft too short for doing the lower falls if rigged with a CEM.
