Comments: This is a fun canyon for it's ease and the beautiful views and nice waterfalls. There would be many more potential waterfall rappels that must be bypassed with downclimbs because of the lack of anchors. A bolting in this canyon would make it a great training locations for les experienced canyoneers to learn aquatic canyon skills. We were wondering when the last trip might have been as the only slings in the canyon were old and without rapides.

Comment: Did this canyon with a very large group with a few beginners down on August 3rd.
The rock was very slippery, possibly more so than any other Sierra Canyon I've done. Water was not very cold, we were comfortable in 3/2mm full wetsuits, but a shorty or a farmer john would have sufficed. Water was flowing but only enough to keep it fun, no significant flow anywhere, and a few of the pools off to the side were stagnant.

Comment: Right now this canyon is almost a class B canyon. The flow is very mild.
