Comments: A scenic canyon with chill vibes at moderate-low flow. At least four raps can be bypassed with down climbing. J1 pool was too low to jump, but did present an opportunity for controlled slides.

Comment: Fun trip down a beautiful canyon. Impressive pile of logs and debris after the canyon narrows just before the exit.

We removed the log from the J1 pool - watch for rock on jumper's left. Also recommend using upper anchor for first tier of R6 then transitioning to rope shown in picture to avoid a hard start and a collapsing bank.

Comment: Brrhhhh.... very cold! Nice flow levels however. Group of 9 going at a relaxed pace took 6hrs car-to-car. Blow-down 0.4 miles from parking added a short bit of road walking.

Added a single bolt somewhere around the middle of the canyon to protect mid-sized rampy rappel.

We re-rigged R6 to go from a tree DCL (photo in beta), as the previously added overhead R6b anchor was now quite marginal. The new anchor location allows both stages to be descended at once without significant edge problems. A spotter can be to be placed on the lip to help facilitate communications down the whole pitch.

We cleared the debris we could from the jump pool. One log remains submerged running the length of the pool. It can still be jumped using accurate flat-jumping technique.

Comment: Tule is a great easy little creek.

R6 - We added a high anchor DCL. This splits the drop into R6a and R6b to avoid the sharp edge.

Comment: Fun addition to the Dark Divide. The creek is pretty action-packed from start to finish. Lots of trees down in the drainage. Creek must see extremely high water from time to time based on the amount of vegetative destruction at the bottom of the canyon.

Comment: First descent took 6 hours so likely the canyon can be run in a shorter amount of time. Flow was pushy only if the rappel line was directly in a channeled section, otherwise, flow is probably considered moderate. Great canyon for early season and lots of rappels to make the trip worth while.
