Comments: Descended the canyon beginning at the drop-in rather than traversing over to a ridge like the KML suggested. The upper reaches were overgrown and not much fun but conditions gradually improved with more clean rock. Did a short rappel off a bush prior to R1, rebuilt the cairn at R1, and re-tied the anchor rope around a tree at R2 (it had rotted off of whatever it was previously connected to). There were some puddles and a bit of flowing water throughout. Downstream of R2 was a breeze.
