Comments: Nice day out before flow is too low to be fun. We noticed several small siphons; in higher flow special care should be taken as the siphons were located directly below where the anchors are placed. From the top of R3, the rappel looked scarier than it turned out to be. However, special care should still be taken and canyoneers should be confident rappelling in flow at moderate-high or higher levels (avoiding the water was not possible at the moderate-high flow).

Comment: Canyon was fun, although flowing higher than expected. Made dry line rappels on the first and crux rappels, and had to protect for the downclimb. Flow seemed to be diverted more heavily DCR around chockstone rappel. Log jam may have built up more on DCL side. Also created a hydraulic in the pool that pulled back toward falls on DCR side in pool at the bottom.

Comment: Canyon flow was very low, but still R1 2 and 3 were fun. Water levels this low would make those 2 technical jumps even more precise...

Pretty sure the exit is no longer marked as mentions in a previous trip report. The trek down to the creek is no too bad but the exit I chose was quite steep and littered with downed trees. The creek walking is abundant but def has some great little areas to cool off in or just appreciate. YT vid link shared on the main page.

Comment: We did an "after" season trip on our way to Gifford-Pinchot. Low water and late day made for extremely underwhelming conditions. Although I still argue it's an overrated canyon. Rap lengths seem to be overstated by a bit, but we were hurrying and didn't measure. I wasn't overly looking to jump, but jumps didn't seem as plentiful and/or as obvious as they are made to sound. Jumper beware. Descent is a bit unpleasant, but fortunately short.

Comment: Lovely pretty canyon with beautiful waterfalls, some fun sporty flow, a couple of short jumps. Got to see a salamander at the very end. It is not done very often, but it definitely deserves more love. Anchors were in great condition. We got to do some fun problem solving in the lower section, which have some short drops but no fixed anchor material. The approach sucks a bit, beware of hornets. Exit went pretty smoothly

Comment: Got to work for it a bit, but a great little canyon! Tip of the hat to the bolting teams -- very nice. Water levels seem to have diminished over the last several weeks. Get a good power-wash to the face on some of the rappels, but otherwise pretty friendly. Was all psyched up for a terrible thrash out and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Jumped on the old logging grade to get back up to the trucks.

Comment: This is a great canyon! A 4WD with higher clearance is needed to clear one portion of the road otherwise the dirt road is in good condition. The total is not indicative of a "regular" canyoning trip as the team took extra time to find an approach route and set bolts. The water is surprisingly cold even with warmer air temperatures so a dry suit is recommended. There are some rappels where you will rappel directly in the full force of the water. With the current water level, the crux move requires a little stemming and dropping directly in the flow (with an overhang/minimal visibility) so canyoners should be comfortable with that move.

Comment: Dropped in around 2200 feet elevation. This put us just above the big drop. Most raps before the committing section are a nuisance but the canyon is delightful and now that the road is fixed, truck or suv recommended. All bolts are good and still are singles so the next team should plan to add more. Flow was fun.
