Comment: Great stemmy slot! Actually fairly pretty too! We drove to the top and dropped in from there. Highclearence 4x4 recommended for the trail to the top.

There is a bonus freehang alcove rap at the head of the drainage that is about 80ft. There is a bolted anchor In place. We spent 30mins and ran laps on this drop as you can easily scramble back up to the top.

The slot has great holds and is very fun to move through, great to teach stemming to beginners. It does have a few open sections throughout.

Hike back up to the truck was an easy stair stepper on slab. Loved the giant mushroom hoodoos as a bonus!

Total 2 hours with a beginner stemmer at a leisurely pace.

Rappel lengths in beta were grossly inaccurate… beta fixed!

Comment: Quick, fun route, about as easy as it gets for a no-shuttle loop. We camped near the parking point the night before - beautiful area. Both raps were cool for 50-footers. The unusually prolonged stemming was intense enough to be fun, without becoming exhausting or intimidating. Made a great wrap-up before driving home after doing Shinumo and Waterholes the preceding days.

Comment: Lots of low penalty fun. Great practice for stemming and bridging. Slightly easier than east of state line. Would be a great warm up for other routes nearby.

Comment: Solo canyoneer 2.5 hrs car to car (took a few photos with hoodoos). Few muddy spots. Did not expect a quarter mile of straight up stemming/chimneying up and down so that was interesting and more physically demanding than expected. Enjoyed the parts where the slot opens up and had to drop down like a cat; appreciate the soft sand landing. Bolt anchors were good. Webbing in the last rappel in good condition.

Comment: Some shallow but avoidable water. Lots of sand along the walls which made things a bit more interesting. R2 webbing was in good condition. Combined with Cat's Cradle and SHP Canyon.

Comment: First rappel is closer to 60 feet. Used a fiddle stick with no issues. Bolts are in good condition, but lots of rope grooves at the first rappel. Webbing at last rappel is starting to look discolored but is backed up with cord on the first bolt.
