Comment: All anchors that were found in great shape. Add alt anchor on rap 1 RDC around a tree to avoid the pool. Couldn't locate anchors for raps 6 & 7. I ghosted rap 6 around a tree LDC. Rap 7 I used a big stone LDC, I think i threw 80ft of rope..... this is a very temporary anchor. It will be gone in the event of heavy water flow. Use at your own risk. I'm 165lbs and held me no problem...

Comment: We entered the canyon from a pull off 1/2 a mile up from windy point which makes canyon entrance quicker. Lots of fall colors which made the canyon beautiful. Took 4 newbies. Everyone had a lot of fun. All anchors were in good shape. Grotto water level was still full. Hike out of the canyon is a scramble in a lot of spots. Is a great option for people wanting to get into canyoneering.

Comment: Great canyon for the area when flowing! Wasnt cranking as much as I thought it’d be. All anchors in good shape. We exited at the grotto and skipped the last 2 drops. Worth doing for a short day.

Comment: Strong flow through a couple of falls. Didn't find R6 off the tree, must have DC'ed. Last pool is a swimmer. Never wore wetsuit, really cold through flowing raps and swims however. On approach, I went right of Nancy's Thumb, lost all semblance of trail, and descended through hell to reach canyon costing time. My ascent to overlook was rather heinous as well and went relatively straight up, occasionally on climber's trails.

Comment: Water was cold and flowing well from recent rains. We did 5 raps and skipped the last 2, exiting on the nice social trail that goes to the grotto. Everything is bolted now and webbing was looking good.

Comment: Multiple great waterfall raps and a fantastic swimming hole accessible with little effort! When we got down into the canyon, waterflow was fairly high and brown. Canyon seemed to be in borderline flash flood conditions so we took caution. The first few raps we rigged just outside the watercourse but as we made our way down we started rigging in the watercourse without issue. I decided to forgo the wetsuit this time, wore a rain jacket, was comfortable enough but started getting chilly near the end. Hike out was a breeze. Took our time, definitely a fun day.

Comment: Great day with high flow. Completed all raps but definitely caution those without the experience in class c and rigging accordingly to consider an alternative or a day without as much flow. Last rap into grotto was intense. :) Fun day seeing the whole canyon covered in water.
