Comments: Gate was closed, so we had to hike in and out the extra mile along the road. Doesn't look like anyone's visited the creek in an age, so we replaced all anchors. R2 and R3 are excellent at current water levels -- although water this year may be higher than a typical year. Surprisingly grippy rock. Looks like someone has been camping at the bottom of R2. Followed game trails out on the way out below R4. Steep but doable. Would be good to establish a trail out in future.

Comment: We were shocked by the beauty of this canyon, which seemed more characteristic of the Cascade canyons than a coast range canyon. Reminiscent of the East fork of Sardine Creek in many ways.
