Comments: Water was flowing at a decent rate still, so that was good. Not a whole lot of interest going on in the canyon. Not overly scenic, no to very few jumps, limited good DCs (pretty much only the last logjam). Kind of hard to justify with the isolation, even when doing Silver also (which has even less, except many jumps).

Comment: Lovely canyon. R3 optional jump was pretty cool. The water is really pretty, and not cold at all by North Cascades standards. If not for the somewhat bushwhacky approach and the half mile creek walk, I would rate this even higher. Anchors were all good except for one of the R3 bolts described in the previous report. Great day overall

Comment: A great day out on the 2nd descent of this creek! Water levels were at or slightly less than our first descent in late September 2021, due to the accelerated snowmelt in the Cascades this season. Most single bolted anchors are now doubled up. There was some rockfall damage on one of the R3 bolts, bolt bent and the steel clearly having taken an impact. Bolt was not loose and was determined to be useable. Its sister bolt was in great condition. Highly recommend this creek for a casual day out in the summer!
