Comment: Always a good time. Anchors are good and in abundance. Beta on this page is quite a bit to decipher. New exit alternative will be added to the kml.

Comment: Flow has lowered significantly in the past few weeks but is still fun. Wore a 5mm wetsuit + rain jacket and was comfortable. Everyone in the group who wore 3mm suits was cold. All rappels were done outside of the watercourse due to having a few beginners and one first-timer. One member of the group jumped all rappels.

Comment: We celebrated Easter by running Christopher Creek and had an absolute blast! We had the entire canyon to ourselves. The water was high and cold but we were comfortable in full wet suits. The only thing that got painfully cold were our hands. The webbing at the pinch point on rap one needs to be replaced soon. All other anchors / webbing were in good condition. We stopped halfway through the route to eat some lunch and enjoy the scenery. We rappelled most of the waterfalls with the exception of the last one. There was a spot to jump LDC into a huge pool. It was the best decision until... my phone sank to the bottom of that pool... So that was a major buzz kill to an otherwise amazing trip. We will definitely be back to enjoy this route again.

Comment: Another fun run of Christopher Creek. Water was pretty cold, but air temps were high, so definitely a good idea to get of the water and warm up on occasion. We ended out doing all rappels out of the water.

Comment: The pools were definitely cold, but we went through them wearing shorts and t-shirts without any consequence. The air was warm enough that we dried off and warmed up quickly by the end. Water flow was fairly low, but still enough of a flow that the waterfalls required some caution. This was the first time either of us can gone canyoning and the very first time my girlfriend had gone rappelling. A great trip was had by both of us.

Comment: Slightly overcast weather but air temperature was warm. The group managed fine in 3/2 wetsuits. Be cautious on some of the jumps (i.e. very first jump opportunity at start of canyon), water level is a bit low.

Had the canyon to ourselves today.

Also pulled some trash that had been left behind. Pack it out people!

Comment: Approach via the road was very straightforward. Wore a 5mm wetsuit and was comfortable. Others in the group were cold in their 3mms. Saw multiple other parties out today, including some climbers near the exit. Super fun, accessible canyon. Great that the flow is reliable even during an extreme drought.

Comment: Started off following the powerline track, then went through a gate and along the highway until we picked up the trail and the special "canyoneer's gate" through the fence. Followed obvious trail, staying off private land, to the drop-in. Water was very cold today, so we didn't dawdle. Did all rappels out of the water. Super fun canyon. Will have to come back again on a nicer day to run the flow. Got a bit confused on the exit trail... think we went upward when we should have stayed low near the watercourse.

Comment: This was the first technical canyon for a couple in the group. We did this without wetsuits. The pools were cool, but the warm air temp and sun balanced that out. A bolt has been added RDC on the final rappel which replaced the previous pinch point set up. The 10ish ft. exit climb (off the house sized boulder) has a wasp nest at the top that was disturbed. Avoid them by moving down canyon another 50ft or so and scrambling up RDC to exit.

Comment: Done with two adults and two kids (age 8 and 11). The kids wore wetsuits for comfort. Such a fun canyon, we spent a lot of time playing around in the pools and the natural slides. Water levels were very low but flowing. There were three waterfall rappels although one could be avoided from a bolt DCR. The rock was very slippery in many spots. Really fun day to play around in the water.
