Comments: Despite the recent heatwave (105F+), a surprisingly large snowfield sits just upstream of R3 blocking the width of the canyon. It doesn't look safe to cross or skirt-around.
We didn't check any higher, and started our decent from R3 (boulder midstream). The water emerging from under the snow was chilly (no shit).
R4 (Keekwulee Falls) was kicking out a significant rooster tail. We went from a single bolt + tree combo on the DCR flow, all the way to the pool below the falls. It kept us out of the main rooster tail flow, but still in the fun flow that pours less aggressively off the lip. On the lower angle slopes below, passing under the main flow gave a powerful but fun hammering (entirely avoidable).
From there we made the most of all the potential raps downstream. The raps are all quite short and technically tame, but the flow was still high enough to keep it fun. In lower flow they might be more tedious and warrant bypassing.
There wasn't much sign of existing webbing, so we burnt through a lot re-rigging the raps.

- R1 - Short, but steep with steps. Pool is deep on DCL side.
- R2 - Keekwulee Falls, as described above.
- R3 - Short, from obvious boulder DCL.
- R4 - Short from DCR boulder set back a little. Awkward step halfway down.
- R5 - Double slides from DCR boulder set far back.
- R6 - Low angle series of cascades, from threaded boulders midstream.
The Garcia gauge (12143400) was reporting 170cfs.

Comment: Nice sunny day to enjoy an easy canyon. Flow was very low. Lots of hikers around the upper falls and crowds near the bottom. Parking lot fills up quickly.

Comment: Upper 2 Rappels are not an option. Snow /avalanche flow is still 30 ft deep and impassable. Start at R3, off side trail to top of the falls. We had to hunt and built almost every anchor. Natural anchors are being swept away during hight water floods or webbing picked up by visitors, even from the trip I did 1 1/2 month ago. Water level is VERY low. Most pools at the bottom of the Rappels are only 4 ft deep and not jumpable.

Comment: The water level was low-moderate. We started just above Snowshoe Falls and did the full canyon. Due to time considerations, we bypassed many of the shorter rappels. We built a deadman anchor with several large rocks in the main watercourse at Keekwulee Falls. From where we rigged, it took about 130' of rope to reach the bottom.
