Comments: Most creeks in the area were running high after a truly ridiculous amount of rain earlier in the week, so we decided to take a look at Gable. The first and last rappels are fun, but the rest of the creek is an overgrown jungle. Bring the machete. We bypassed the middle falls as it was an unaesthetic mess. Altogether we probably spent more time out of the creek than in it. Beware sharp edges and rockfall on the big drop. Anyone belaying should stand well back from the drop or underneath the overhang.
