Comment: Top notch rappels and beautiful views make this a fun and repeatable route! We really enjoyed this one!
Once across the river, there is a wide established hiking trail just through the brush. Depending where you cross, hiking up/down the trail a short ways to a spring flowing over the trail marks the turn off for the approach. Through the woods, the trail quickly gets over grown with lush (mostly friendly) greenery, but still passable and faintly visible. You can see the falls from one point on the trail to gauge flow. Trail quickly climbs up a very steep gully that is loose in spots mostly following a trickling creek. Very pretty and canopied on approach. First rappel is described as optional which I would say could be the case if it didn’t parallel down a flowing river and end at a monster cliff. Definitely recommend roping up here for safety… The chained anchor for R3 is easy to pass if not paying attention and is a semi hanging station. The big rappels are very vertical and very fun! The flow felt light, splashy, and enjoyable. Not pushy at any point, however, I believe the locals would call the flow “moderate” for these falls as it normally would be a trickle. We were happy without wetsuits, just rain jackets. Although, neoprene booties would have been nice! Full sun on descent! Our 225’ rope was just a tad short but manageable on R4 which we rigged off the bolts set back and high on the DCR wall. The forward DCR bolts on the ground could be a harder pull and slightly less enjoyable rap but 200 should reach from there I’d think. All the rappels are high quality and very enjoyable. The scenery and long reaching views are fabulous. The flow is beginner friendly. We took our time enjoying this one. 2 people 4.5hrs

Comment: We did an evening run on GWI. The approach is well-worn, but the tree debris from this winter's avalanches remains problematic. Descending GWI was straightforward, and the anchors and rigging were in good condition. Our feet and legs were wet from light spray and shallow water. It was a fun outing.

Comment: Quick romp. Very light flow, but typical for this time of year. Only water spray was on rap one, everything else is avoidable. Conditions are slippery, aside from this everything else was straight forward. All slings still in good shape.

Comment: Sunny afternoon at the Great White Icicle. Approach was straightforward. Steep and rocky. All anchors were in good condition. Water level was low but rappelling was still fun. No wetsuits required. Light rain jacket and rain pants kept me mostly dry.
