Comments: All the webbing was good on the raps completed. Bailed out at rap 5 or 6 due to weather and being solo. It was a risk/reward decision. I usually scale back when I am solo. I would have completed if I had another person with me. I was already satisfied with the awesome descent. The canyon is very beautiful. The high flow is a lot of fun. Comment: Amazing canyon with one great rappel after another! Flow was quite high especially after several days of rain/snow prior to the day of our run. Anchors throughout canyon in good shape. Seconding the previous condition report- consider re-rigging the 90ft R8 higher canyon left or right. The concealed pothole/cave halfway down the first stage of the rappel sucks you in and is difficult to escape in heavy flow. It is safe inside the cave- water about waist deep, but it took a couple tries for all of our group to find a safe way out without the flow pinning us. Could see it being extremely hazardous in even slightly higher flow than we experienced.

Comment: All anchors in decent condition. The first tier of R8 in high water is concealed and has a waist deep pothole that could be potentially hazardous. I would recommend rigging from a tree higher up canyon left for this drop in current conditions. No issues on any others drops.

Comment: Excellent canyon in great conditions! We managed to skip a decent part of the approach by parking at the first switchback of Clear Lake Road and taking the flat trail to Old Wooden Bridge, which was much of a boon to us flatlanders.
We needed to rebuild about half the anchors, so don't lay much faith in the anchor descriptions. There are lots of trees to anchor from if you need to do it again, and many can be set on the edge or out of the flow entirely. Water was enjoyable and minimally difficult to deal with.
