Comments: At the current flows, the cauldron room is not an issue. You can touch the ground throughout and step over the strainers. Hydraulics are still in play on the rappels before the cauldron and could cause issues to those who do not know how to avoid them.

Comment: This was the strongest swift water canyon we did in Ouray, and definitely the one with the most jumps. Lots of water, hydraulics right and left, but all relatively safe because we run it with some local (Logan DG and friends). We did Upper and Lower sections of the canyon but walked along the road rather than streamwalk. We still had time to go run the Durango Waterpark too.

This is what Upper Uncompahgre should have been but never was (not even close!!!).
