Comments: Awesome day in Twin Falls! Time includes running the whole route twice! We skipped the redirect on R2 for the second lap (and we short rope + jumped R3 each time). Getting to R4 was a relatively trivial swim exit.
This route is amazing! We would highly recommend running it twice for maximum fun. We were also unable to traverse to the slide despite a lot of effort... Very, very slippery.

Comment: The Alice Creek gauge was reading 25cfs. Time in canyon was 2 hours. None in our group could make it to the slide on R4, too slippery on the very mossy rock. We did 6 jumps from 5 to 20 feet. Would like to come in lower flow in order to do R3 in the flow and to have a better chance of getting over to the slide. Also would like to do mid-day when sun is hitting the canyon. Excellent anchor placement throughout, Kudos to the development team.

Comment: The R2 redirect was still in place from last season although a little worn. Bringing a brush to clean the rock face near the redirect may prove to be helpful with the footing for all except the first rappeller. Our team opted for the dry line on R3. The waterflow link showed double the cfs today compared to 8/22/23 on all gauges except the SF SNOQUALMIE RIVER AB ALICE CREEK NR GARCIA, WA meter which was about the same as then - mid 20's cfs. Visually, it only looked a little higher today. Pay special attention to the final rappel rigging. The rope pull on this can be difficult due to the spacing between the bolts relative to the rock (see photo). This anchor should be adjusted possibly by simply adding another quicklink to just one of the bolts. Overall, this was a fun mid-afternoon canyon.

Comment: Fun sunny afternoon/evening run. Lots of jumping, and some ascending to lap them. The currents were very manageable but still present. Did the slide on the main falls - that's quite something!
The start of R2 is still the crux move (I'm not sure the flow here ever gets below the Mod-High reference photos). Improved the R2 redirect with a proper stainless quicklink & extended webbing, and removed the corroded quick draw.

Comment: 2nd time running the route. The flow is not any lower than it was in mid-Aug. Donated a long quickdraw to the R2 redirect.
Selecting "special challenges" due to the overall nature of the route (e.g. risky start to R2, every pool has a current which will happily snatch ropes & bags). However a fun evening trip in a beautiful canyon. Departed parking lot 3.30pm, back at 6.15pm.
